There is evidence galore of ghosts throughout history, unless of course you consider evidence to be unequivocal proof.  There have been eye eyewitness accounts of  ghosts, werewolves, vampires, shadow people, crab people, dwarves, giants, talking animals, and many more supernatural (or at least highly unlikely) phenomena.  One has only to type the word ghost into a search engine (such as Askipedia after this question) to find much ‘evidence’ of ghosts.

The web sites you may find (such as the ones linked below) are not necessarily trying to scam anyone, often times the perpetrators of the websites do believe in ghosts and feel that they actually have evidence.  Photographs, voice recordings, cold spots on the floor, a door that slams on its own, even video exists on these sites.  Is this evidence that ghosts not only exist but that they haunt us?  While it is possible that ghosts do exist and that this evidence is proof of that, it is much more likely that all this evidence can be explained in some reasonable fashion.  We are quick to believe in ghosts, but for some reason we reject some of the equally absurd ideas that science can offer about space and time.  Perhaps a ghost is nothing more than an image of some other time, briefly manifesting itself in our own time due to so odd circumstances between space and time.  All I know is that when I die I hope I don’t have to hang around in people’s houses, what a boring afterlife.

Here are just a few of the thousands of ghost and other supernatural web sites that exist on the internet.  You can decide for yourself if you think any of this evidence is evidence of ghosts, strange but explainable situations, or if it’s just someone trying to make a buck.
