So you want to answer some questions, share your knowledge and make some money. It’s an easy concept. Visitors to Askipedia have the opportunity to ask us questions for free. You yourself have maybe even asked one or two. Now you can sign up to answer questions as well! All you need to do is answer a minimum of one question per month, and you’ll get paid every single month for as long as you have answers published on the web site. Even if you decide to not answer questions for a month your answers remain on the site, and when you do get back to posting your minimum of 1 answer per month, you’ll still get paid based on all of your previous answers. There is NO time limit for answers, if they are published they will remain on the site (unless they need to be removed for legal reasons) and you’ll get paid for them, for every single month you remain a contributor!

The site makes money based on the ads that it shows, 50% of that money will go back into the site to make it better and cover the costs to keep it online, the rest of the money the site makes is split up between the authors of the answers we publish. If you have written 5% of the answers you make 5% of the money that’s split between the various authors.

The more questions you answer the more money you make, and there are two reasons for that. One reason is you’ll have a bigger share of the profit the more questions you answer, and the more questions you answer the more money the site makes. If you answer questions at a steady pace you may only keep your same percentage of profit sharing, but the site will make more money because there will be more questions answered. If you answer questions at a very quick rate you’ll get a bigger share of a bigger profit pool!

While we do want to answer every question that is submitted to the site, we also encourage you to write about things you know. Ask your own question and then answer it! It’s allowed!

There are various levels for our experts. Because we care about the content of this site and its accuracy, your answers will be screened and perhaps suggestions will be made to improve upon them. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be able to submit your questions directly to the site, and if you’re really good then we are also looking for administrators to help with new comers.

Remember the key components of the website:
1) You make the same percentage of profit as you have percentage of answers published.
2) You make that money every month you contribute 1 or more answers, and the money you make is representative of ALL the answers you have provided in the past, there is no expiry on your past answers!
3) There is no cost to sign up there is never a cost to you.
4) The more questions you answer the more money you’ll make!

So why dont you get paid if you don't contribute atleast one new question per month? It's simple, the site can only grow and remain profitable if we continue to add new answers, so to encourage our experts to keep helping the site grow, we ask that you add something new every month, and we feel that one answer is not too much to ask! Even if you don't answer questions in a month, you will see the amount of money you could have earned, posted in the experts area. If you do not contribute the money that you would have earned is added back into the profits for other experts who have met their monthly contributions, as a reward for helping the site continue to grow!

You may be wondering about what you need to have in your answer to qualify it for publishing. This site is not like others that have people simply guess at answers, we are purely factual here. Your answers must be accurate and well written. Check out some of the answers by Mr. Know-It-All, our resident guru. The length of the answers is not our top priority, what is important is how thoroughly and accurately the answers are. We do not want one liners or point form notes, we want well thought out answers that will make our users happy, they are the ultimate judges of any answer published. Think about the type of answer you would want if you had a question and do your best.

How you get paid.
Payments from Askipedia will be paid through Paypal on the 15th of the month following your earnings month. So January earnings are paid on February 15th, February earnings are paid on March 15th, and so on. You must have a Paypal account and your Paypal address must be used as your registration address when you sign up to answer questions on Askipedia. When you login to your Askipedia account you can see your month to date earnings and at the end of every month that money will be transferred to your Paypal account. Your month to date earnings will reflect all the questions you have answered to date, not just the current month. The money you earn is always based on the total number of questions you have answered.
