What is a sin of Pride?

Author: ctpb

An example of the sin of Pride is simply being preoccupied with yourself.  If you consider yourself first and then act on that consideration only, then you're probably a bit too preoccupied with yourself.

Pride is one of the seven deadly sins along with, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Rage, Greed, and Sloth.  I've always wondered about the difference between Greed and Gluttony.  Gluttony is the desire to consume more than one requires.  Greed is the desire for material wealth.  So if someone strives to make lots of money to pay for gas in their gas-guzzler of a car, are they both greedy and gluttonous?
