Call one more time (not two, three, or four...just once). Maybe she was busy; its not like she is constantly waiting by the phone waiting for your number to appear on the caller ID. But if she STILL doesn't call you back, move on. Plain and simple. Don't call her again -- if she wanted to go out with you, she would have answered the phone. Girls don't like to play games as much as you think they do. Don't go waisting your time - get over it and get back out there because the one for you is still waiting at the club.
If you've never read the book, "He's Just Not that Into You" -- you should. They should also make a sequel with the title "She's Just Not that Into You". I would imagine this book would have advice such as: if she doesn't call you after the first date, do NOT follow her around town for a week and confront her when you watch her not answer your phone call (because that's just creepy). It might also remind guys that just because there is a load of laundry in the community dryer and no one is there -- doesn't mean that you should go snooping in it to look at her panties.
