Is it true that menthol cigarettes can cause impotence?

Author: ctpb

The rumors about menthol cigarettes causing impotence are completely false.  The rumors about cigarettes causing impotence are completely true.  These rumors have existed for a number of years but there has never been any evidence to show that menthols are more likely to cause impotence than regular cigarettes.

Smoking constricts blood vessels, which can impede blood flow.  This poor blood flow can lead to more serious things than impotence but it can cause impotence.  A study published in 1994 in the American Journal of Epidemiology claimed that 2.2% of non-smokers experienced impotence while 3.7$ of smokers experienced impotence.

There is also research to show that smoking lowers a man’s sperm count, again menthol cigarettes will not lower a man’s sperm count to a greater degree than regular cigarettes.

If you smoke maybe you can find a woman who doesn't want children.
