Most women with breast implants can still breastfeed. It will depend on the type of surgery that was used to add the implants. If the incision is made below the breast or under the armpit then the surgery should not affect the woman's ability to breastfeed.
If however the incision is made around the areola (the colored area around the nipple) then there is a greater risk of problems. There are a significant amount of nerves in that area and if they are cut during the surgery they may not heal properly. These nerves are important because they trigger the brain to release prolactin and oxytocin, two hormones that affect a woman's ability to produce milk.
There should be no concern of the implant leaking into the breast milk. For one there have been no known cases of this and two even if the implant did leak they are made of silicone and that should not be harmful to a baby.
