For Centuries people have been looking for the fountain of youth. At first people thought it was a literal place, a pool of water that would rejuvenate the body and increase the life expectancy of anyone who drank of it. Today we know that there is no such place, but our quest for the fountain is still going as strong as ever. Instead of claiming there is some magical place, which we all know to be fictional, some now claim that the secret to youth is in our own bodies. The Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is today's fountain of youth. This hormone is in all of us, it is released by the pituitary gland, and it helps growth (as if you couldn't tell by the name of it) in children and adolescents.
The New England Journal of Medicine has suggested then when injected HGH may provide some health benefits, especially to those that may have some medical condition that relates to the pituitary gland or hormones in general. It is these people that doctors feel HGH can have some benefit. There are no conclusive studies that indicate that taking the HGH in spray or pill form will have any effect.
If you actually require HGH your doctor should be able to provide the hormone in the most appropriate manner. If you do not actually need the hormone you can still buy it of the shelves, in spray or pill form. The problem is that the HGH on the shelves is not the same product that you may be prescribed by your doctor. The over the counter product is essentially useless, it is a false product that drug makers have developed in order to make money. These people are playing off of our own fear of death and some people are willing to believe anything. These drug makers are so desperate for your money they will even lie to you about similar products produced by competitive companies. The pill makers will tell you the spray doesn't work, and the spray makers will tell you that the pill doesn't work. Well neither work.
If you believe you need the hormone, go to your doctor, they'll probably give you a shot directly into your blood stream.
