Children who get the chicken pox should not ever need to get the vaccine, assuming they have a healthy immune system.  Since children do not recieve the vaccine till they are at least a year old, your daughter should be able to skip it when she turns on year old.

Keep in mind that while typically a child who has had the chicken pox will not get it again, they still may.  The vaccine may help to reduce the odds of a second infection; however the odds of a second infection should be pretty low already.

There is also a 10-20 percent chance than anyone who has had chicken pox in the past will get shingles at some point in thier lives.  Since your daughter has already had chicken pox the vaccine will not help to prevent shingles.

Your doctor will be able to give you more information.  Your childs health records, which I am not privy to, will be a factor in determining whether or not a vaccine at this point is helpful.
