Bell Peppers come in a variety all with there own variation on the same taste. They should be added to any meal. They can be sauteed, steam, boiled, and grilled and are a healthy addition to all meals a whole red pepper has your entire daily serving of vitamin C and only 80 calories. Paprika is a spice made from red bell peppers that is a great spice to add to anything you make. They were brought over from the new world in 1493 by Chistopher Columbus and are now a delicious healthy part of many diets around the world.
Red Pepper and Carrot Puree
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 1 Carrot
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- 3 Cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon of Dill
- Enough water to cover all ingredients
- A pinch of Salt, Turmeric, Paprika, and Cumin
Mix all the ingredients together and cook until all is tender. Then pour in a blender and puree. Will last a couple days and is a delicious healthy treat.
