It's usually best to give your body some time to adjust to any new weight loss program before weight starts to come off. Nutritionists tell us that it is healthiest to shed one or two pounds of body fat a week, rather than the 10-20 pounds per week that most fad diets will make you lose. Most of these diets make you lose water weight instead of fat weight, and as water is a necessity to your body, it will replenish itself shortly after you stop the diet. So, just make sure you are eating 3 healthy meals a day, with at least 2 snacks, and exercising a little bit each day, and you should soon see it come off. If the scale doesn't show it, then your clothes may fit looser.
Remember too that muscle weighs more than fat, and the body can have a way of changing fat to muscle before it starts shedding outward inches, so that may also be a factor.
