Prison Break is a show on Fox in which a man is convicted of murdering the Vice-Presidents brother. Link, the man convicted, although not the most wholesome character one may encounter is innocent of the crime. His genius brother Michael, who is a wholesome character, robs a bank in order to get to the same prison as Link.
The catch in Prison Break is that Michael was one of the engineers of the prison in which Link is being held on Death Row. But wait it gets better, before robbing the bank that got him thrown in prison Michael tattoos the schematics of the prison on to his body, of course disguised as something completely different of course.
Michael then spends the first season overcoming various obstacles in planning an elaborate Prison Break. The season ends with a handful of escaped convicts running across a field with the police hot on their trail.
There is a little more to this show than just a run of the mill prison break. There is a conspiracy to frame Link for the murder of the Vice-President’s brother, who is actually not even dead.
Season two will let viewer know not only if the prison break is successful, but if Link and Michael are able to uncover the truth about just what the Vice-President is up to. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that the Vice-President is actually the President by the end of season one, if I did I also probably forgot to mention that the Vice-President assassinated the President in order to become President. Good stuff.
Season two has not official release date as of yet. The show will return in the fall of 2006; however, they tend to not release the date very early, just in case something better comes along. If I notice the date somewhere, and I remember that this question is in our database, I will most definitely update this answer.
