Hard work, and a lot of luck. Knowing someone in the industry is almost a must. Unfortunately talent alone will not make you well admired in anything. Your best bet is to find a school you can attend and begin the road to music producing greatness as soon as you can. If you're really committed you may find yourself where you want to be, but you may not. The music industry is fickle at the best of times.
