    Superglue was invented during World War II, not Vietnam, as was duct tape which was originally called “duck” tape.

      You are right, and so are we 🙂

      As we said in the article, it was invented in 1942, but its original purpose (plastic for gun sights) failed. In the 60’s the inventor re-purposed it as a sealant for wounds, and that is where it found it’s way into the Vietnam War.
